Victoria The Duck

I really enjoyed building Victoria Ducks website. This is a childrens ministry website where my client is a puppetier teaching children different bible stories with a little puppet duck called Victoria. I added some flash buttons with victoria saying its destination so the little ones don’t have to read. I also integrated a You Tube player to allow videos on the site of some of the ministries videos. If you have small children give the site a visit and maybe pick up a book or two or maybe even a video. It’ll brighten your childs day and you’ll be helping to support this ministry to children.

Concrete Technologies of Greenville Spartanburg and Anderson

This was mostly a website update. This site was built with a wordpress back end to allow easy content management and updates to the website. This company specializes in faux finishes for countertops, driveways and just about anything you want to look like granite or marble. Drop by and tell Ron I sent ya!

Invequity Real Estate

This ended up being a more complicated website then I expected. It actually was built using a Wordpress and an Open Realty Integration. I wrote a plugin to all the two applications to act as one and its pretty transparent. If your interested in Integrating Wordpress and Open Realty drop me a line. Although the plugin is not really at the stage of release I could help you out in getting the two to work together. It even has the administrative back end buit right into wordpress. I wanted to test adding real video media to a post for a new client www.victoriaduck.com

With the idea of trying to help small businesses that want to have a web presence but do not have the budget to spend thousands of dollars on a website we’ve just started the free website deal. It seems to be getting a lot of response and we hope to give every small business the chance to have a web presence.

I just finished the Beasley Construction Website. This turned out to be a great website featuring some technologies that used to cost a lot more to implement. Some of the sites features are…
A really nice Gallery that allows its users to log in and upload pictures. It automatically creates the thumbnails and is displayed using a lightbox feature where it shows the picture in the foreground of the gallery page. A lot less clicks when viewing the gallery and it re-sizes itself according to the viewers screen.

Widget controls so you can easily drag and drop items on the sidebar and re-order the navigation. You can also add html in a widget and insert ads or what ever you desire within the side bar.

Slide Show Header lets Beasley change the images in the header so when he finishes a new construction project he can easily upload a new photo of his work (beautiful stuff I might add) into his header gallery and wa-la its there for everyone to see.

New WYSIWYG editor allows Beasley to change his pages and add new ones, I my opinion, easier than using Microsoft Word.

I set this Gallery demo up for one of my clients to show him how we could have sound and a slide show together. Its admitilly not my best potography work but its a nice thumbnail gallery and easy to set up.

The audio requires you upload an mp3 to a folder on the server and then just place the song title in a few tags to run.

The gallery is a simple viewer gallery and you just tell the page to display the desired gallery also using tags.
